William Keith Summers

December 31, 1969 — July 8, 2015

William K. Summers, age 73, passed on July, 8th 2015 surrounded by family while in the care of the St. Mary Mercy Hospital staff.

He was born on February 17th, 1942 in Detroit, Michigan to William and Flora Summers. He was a graduate from Cooley High School and soon after began working for Mich-con until his retirement in 1998. He married Delores Irvine on October 12th, 1973 and resided in Michigan. Bill truly loved helping others; he was always a hardworking man. He loved to collect, whether it was antiques or junk, in his eyes it was always worth something.

He is survived by his wife, Delores Summers; 4 children, Michael, Jerry (Dawn), Karen (Tim) Meek, and Georgean; 6 grandchildren, Brittany, Amanda, Kimberly, Dylan, William (Billy), and Savannah; 2 great-grandchildren, Sevyn and Arizona; 5 siblings, Dorothy Frank) Adams, Malcolm (Lucy) Summers, Beth (Dick) Watt, Bruce (Janice) Summers, and Margaret (John) Weidenhammer: and loving companion, Boo (dog), along with many other family and friends.

Visitation for William will be on Sunday July, 12th from 12 noon  until 8 pm.
Funeral Service will be held on Monday July, 13th at 11 am at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions in honor of  William may be made to the charity of your choice.
