Wilfred Morkin

BILL was 84 at the time of his death, the beloved husband of pre-deceased wives: Rose and Georgiana. He is survived by daughter, Kathy and son, Larry, and granddaughter, Jamie (Dan), all of Chicago, IL. Bill will also be dearly missed by his friend and dancing partner, Coletta. Bill was a veteran of the United States Navy, serving in the Asiatic Pacific theater of World War II. He was awarded the Victory Medal. Bill was a member of the VFW Post #3941, Livonia, and generously participated in countless VFW funeral services around the metro-area. A VFW memorial service will take place during the visitation. The family will receive visitors on Sunday, September 7th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with a funeral service at 3 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association. Please share a memory.
