Vena Elizabeth "Lentz" Sedore

Vena Elizabeth (nee. Lentz) Sedore of Saline, Michigan passed away at age 87 on July 16, 2018 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.   She was born in Centerline, Michigan on November 15, 1930.  She graduated from Redford Union High School. Vena was married to James Albert Sedore on October 30,1948 and they were married for 49 years. He preceded her in death.   Vena is survived by her daughters, Deborah Sedore and Diane Arms (Jonathan); her grandchildren, Laura George (Evan), Ian Johnson, Andrew Arms, and Sarah Arms; her great grandson, Logan George; her brother, Larry Lentz; her sisters-in-law, Shirley Lentz and Jean Lentz, and many nieces and nephews.   Vena is a Past Worthy Matron of Kindness Chapter OES, a Past Mother Advisor, and a past member of the Wonderland Walkers.   Visitation  will be held Sunday, July 22, 2018 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM with an Eastern Star Service at 5;00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.   She will be In-State for Final Visiting on Monday, July 23, 2018 from 10:30 until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, 27475 Five Mile, Livonia 48154.   Family requests memorial donations in memory of Vena be made to: Fisher Center for Alzheimer's Research 110 East 42nd Street, 16th Floor New York, NY 10017 www.alzinfo.org/donate
