Timothy Joel Harrison

On May 22, 2023 at 3:15am, the love of my life and the best friend I’ve ever had, went home to be with the Lord. He was an awesome husband.

Timothy Joel Harrison was 59 years old. He was born in Huntington, West Virginia on June 24, 1963 to Billy Richard Harrison and Linnie Nell (nee. Park). He graduated from Plymouth Canton High School.

Tim was married to Gerrie on September 27, 1986; they were married for 36 years and 7 months.

He worked as a taxidermist for Lyle Johnson and as a production worker for Inalfa Roof Systems, where he won many awards.

Tim enjoyed working on cars and small motors. He was a handyman, a “Mr. Fix it”. He loved fishing and hunting, listening to country music, walking his dogs and gardening, but his passion was helping anyone out who needed help or an extra hand. I remember when he brought a homeless person home…I seen that a little differently than him. His family was everything to him.

Tim is survived by his wife, Gerrie, his son Jesse, daughter-in-law Emily, his mother Linnie, his brother Greg, his sister Cindy, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his father, Billy, his mother-in-law Helen (known as Monkey), and his half-brother Jim.

Visitation for Tim will be held Saturday, June 3^rd from 1:00 – 2:30pm with a Memorial Service at 2:30 at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.

Memorial donations in memory of Tim may be made to his family and can be mailed to the funeral home. Checks can be made out to Tim’s mom, Linnie McDonald.
