Thomas Patrick Moyles

THOMAS was 93 years of age at the time of his death, with family at his bedside. The beloved husband of the late Dorothy (NEE Klein), and the late Joyce (NEE LaFramboise,) Tom is the dear father of Patricia (NEE Moyles) (Thomas) Plenda, and Thomas (Pam) Moyles Jr. He is the grandfather  of Stacey (NEE Plenda) (the late Gary) Majewski, Jerry Plenda, Melanie (NEE Plenda) (Jason) Washer, Crystal (NEE Moyles) (Paul) Pulice, Amber Moyles and Tiffany Moyles.  He is also the great-grandfather to Max Washer and Adam Washer.  A veteran of World War II, Tom served in the Army as a Messenger Dispatcher and Combat Infantryman. He was in the Philippine Liberation Campaign of the Asiatic-Pacific Theatre of the War, and was wounded in Anguar; a Purple Heart is among is medals. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 8th from 1 to 4 PM. Tom will lie In-State on Monday morming, 10 AM until the time of Mass at 10:30 AM, at St. Priscilla Catholic Church located at 19120 Purlingbrook Road, which is north of 7 Mile Road and west of Middlebelt. The Mass of Christian Burial will conclude with a Piper tribute and a United States Army Honor Guard flag folding and presentation. Please share a memory or thought.
