Thomas Joseph Gerovac

Passed away on February 24, 2010 at the age of 87. Thomas was born on December 30, 1922 to Thomas and Kate Gerovac in Ironwood, Michigan. He served his country during WWII in the United States Army. Thomas obtained his B.A at Northern Michigan University and a Masters Degree at Michigan State University. He taught at Powell Jr. High School in Farmington until his retirement. An active member of St. Genevieve Catholic Church for almost 50 years and involved in the Livonia Elks Club. Dear husband of the late Gerry. Dear friend of many years to Marjorie Fields. Loving father of Cathy (Ron) Robine of Chadds Ford, PA and Brian (Liz) Gerovac of Manassas, VA. Grandfather of Robert, Alison, Angela, Molly and Bridget. Brother of Anne Fink of Sun City, AZ. and Joseph Gerovac of Ludington, MI. Visitation will be on Friday, February 26 from 5 until 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, 29015 Jamison on Saturday, February, 27 at 11:00 am. In state at 10:15. Please share a condolance or memory with the family.
