Sharon Elizabeth (nee. LeFaive) Dickson of Westland, MI passed away May 16, 2022 at the age of 65.
She was born in Detroit on June 29, 1956 to Philbert “Phil” and Gloria (nee. Brennan). She graduated from Livonia Bentley High School class of 1974.
Sharon married Sam Dickson in 1974 and they had two children, Adam and Christine. Sam retired as a GM UAW auto worker. Sharon enjoyed doll creation, crafts, and gardening. She worked briefly at Meijer in the deli department and also as a power washer for a family friend.
Sharon is survived by her children, Adam James Dickson and Christine Diane Dickson; significant other, George Houthuysen; grandchildren, Phoenix, Autumn, MacKenzie, Adam, Brennan, Kynnleigh, Leo, and Jade; sister, Patricia (Charles) and brother-in-law, Andy.
She is preceded in death by Sam; her parents, Phil and Gloria; sister Gloria Jean; brothers David and Paul.
Visitation for Sharon will be held Wednesday, May 25th from 2:00 – 8:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.
Sharon will be In-State for final visiting on Thursday, May 26th from 10:30 AM until the time of Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Genevieve – St. Maurice Catholic Church, 29015 Jamison, Livonia 48154.
Burial will take place at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery in Howell, Michigan.
