ROSE KELLER, November 14, 2009, matriarch of her loving family, who are gathering from West Virginia, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida and California to join her Michigan family and friends to celebrate her life and to pay their final respects. Rose was a proud citizen of Livonia who expressed her many talents and interests in the creative activities at the Livonia Senior Center. She was especially admired for her water colors and oil paintings and her long years of service on the lap robe project for cancer patients. Rose is predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph, her son, her son-in-law, her brother and his wife, three of her sisters and their spouses, and, most recently, by her brother-in-law and her niece. Rose is survived by her two daughters, two of her sisters, her seven grandchildren and their spouses, her seven amazing great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and grand-nieces and grand-nephews, and her many friends and devoted neighbors who brought such comfort to her in her final days. Born and raised in Wheeling, Rose will be interred with her beloved husband at his final resting place in Wheeling, with a Mass and committal service at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 at Mount Calvary Cemetery Chapel. The family will receive visitors in Livonia on Sunday 12 to 9 p.m. with rosary and meditation at 3 p.m. Rose will be in state Monday at 10:15 a.m. until time of funeral Mass, 11 a.m. at her parish church, St. Genevieve Catholic Church, 29015 Jamison Street, Livonia, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to St. Genevieve's Church, St. Vincent de Paul or the American Diabetes Association. Please share a memory.
