Robert Thomas Yancheson

Robert Thomas Yancheson (Bob), 91 of Livonia, MI, passed away on December 2nd, 2019.    Bob was born in Swoyerville, PA on November 6th, 1928 to John and Mary Yancheson. He graduated from Fordson High School and continued on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree for Auditing from Wayne State University. He served in the Army in the Korean War as a Corporal, and always commented that he enjoyed his European vacation.    Bob was married to Mary Ellen on September 3rd, 1955. They enjoyed 48 years of marriage together.    Bob worked for the Federal Government as a U.S. Defense Contract Auditor. He loved working on puzzles and enjoyed all of his time spent with his family. His quick wit and quiet commentary kept all who sat near him entertained.    Bob is survived by six children: Robert, Catherine, Teresa, Lisa, Matthew, and Maryellen; 13 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by Mary Ellen (wife) and Craig (son-in-law).    Visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, December 5th from 2:00 - 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.   Robert will be In-State for Final Visiting at 10:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM at St. Genevieve - St. Maurice Catholic Church, 29015 Jamison, Livonia 48154.   Memorial donations in memory of Robert Yancheson may be made to St. Jude’s Hospital.
