Robert P. Lareau

Robert passed away April 2, at the age of 81 in Livonia. He was the first son of Lillian & Hector LaReau. His younger brother Clarence preceded him in death. Robert leaves his beloved wife Marcella (Staffeld) and loving daughter Jamie. Robert was an alumni of St. Therese High School in Detroit, was a WWII Navy Veteran. He organized the UAW local 1313 and was the first vice president of that local at Unisys, where he retired in 1986. Robert was the past president of Burroughs Plymouth employees Credit Union, now USA Federal Credit Union. He was a lifetime member of Burroughs Farm golf course in Brighton where he got a hole-in-one. Visitation will be on Thursday April 5 from 2-5 & 7-9 pm.
