RED was 92 years of age at the time of his death in the Odyssey Hospice Home. A gentleman and a joy to be with, Red was a United States Army veteran, having served during World War II. Red was in Normandy, Northern France, the Rhineland, Ardennes, and Central Europe. Among his citations and decorations were 5 Bronze Stars. Red made a career with General Motors, and retired after 30 years of service in the Willow Run Plant. He is the beloved husband of the late Lorraine; and is cherished as a wise and wonderful father to Patricia Morrell, Linda (Larry) Johnson, Robert Jr. (Sandra), and Michael (Kyle). He will be dearly missed by adoring grandchildren: Kimberly, Robert, Heather, Ryan, Hanna, and Ian; and great-grandchildren: Delaney, Serena, Conner, and Rowan. Red was preceded in death by his brother, Albert, and sister, Dorothy. The family will receive visitors on the evening of Monday, July 18th, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM An Army Honor Guard ceremony will take place at 8:00 PM.
