ROBERT PAUL ALEXANDER was 79 years of age at the time of his unexpected death, at home.
Born in Detroit in 1934, to Robert and Helen Alexander, Bob was a friend to many, and worked hard and skillfully as a truck mechanic.
He took great satisfaction in being the husband of over 58 years, to Martha, who survives him. Together, they raised a loving family. He is the dear father of Donna (Roger) Reniff, Helen (Mark) Rieske, Charles P. Alexander, Robert S. (Denise) Alexander, and Timothy Alexander.
Bob is the adored grandfather of 11, and great grandfather of 3. He is also survived by a brother, Mike McDermott, and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at a memorial gathering at the funeral home from 10 AM to 1 PM on Sunday, May 18th-- which would be Bob's 80th birthday. Please stay for Services that will be conducted at 1 PM.
The family suggests that anyone wishing to, may make a memorial donation to the American Heart Association or Leader Dogs for the Blind. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
