Ray Llewellyn Francis

RAY was 92 years of age at the time of his peaceful passing, at home, with family.
He proudly served in the Army Signal Corps during WWII, and then went on to achieve a PhD in Chemical Engineering. Ray's career was in ink processing.
He is the beloved husband of Mary and the late Geraldine; and dear father of Barbara Powers, Cynthia Armbruster, and Suzanne (Paul) Grasinski. Ray embraced the honor of his role as stepfather, and is dearly loved by Beverly Marshall, Henry Marshall, Jr., Valerie Hummer, and Russell Marshall.
Many grandchildren and great grandchildren have sat on his knee and enjoyed his affection and guidance.
A private family memorial ceremony will be held, with Ray's ashes joining those of Geraldine, in the Memorial Gardens of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, in Livonia.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the charity of your choice.
