Petar Jovanovski

Petar (Petre) Jovanovski, age 90, of Dearborn Heights, peacefully passed away surrounded by his family on May 30, 2023. Our beloved Petre was born in the village of Beloviste, Macedonia on July 6, 1932. 

Petre is survived by his wife of 65 years, Danica. He was the loving father of Mirjana, Marjan (Menka), and Julijana (Valentin) Kotevski. He was the proud Dedo of Alexander, Candace, Natasha (Andrej) Zlateski, Daniel, Alexandra, Phillip, Victoria, and Nikolas; and delighted Pre Dedo to his great-grandchild Damian.

Petre was preceded in death by parents, Atanas and Petkana; daughter Borka; brothers, Gasho, Nofo, and Sofro; step-parents Bozin and Andja; and step-sisters, Djurdjana and Petra.

Visitation will be held on June 4th from 1:00-8:00pm, with a prayer service at 7:00pm, at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154. He will be Laid in State on June 5th at 11:30am at Nativity of the Virgin Mary Macedonian Orthodox Church, 43123 Ryan Road, Sterling Heights, 48314. Burial to follow at Parkview Memorial Cemetery.
