Paul Joseph Allegrina

Mr. Paul Joseph Allegrina, 68, of Plymouth, Michigan passed away on November 30, 2020.    Paul was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 9, 1952 to Charles D. and Ruth M. Allegrina. Upon graduation from Benedictine High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. After he was discharged, he went on to receive a Bachelors from Wayne State University.    Paul was employed in the manufacturing sector for various entities as a Quality Control Technician. He was a man of many facets. An intellectual and an athlete who earned over 20 college degrees and certificates as well as various trade certifications and also ran cross country in college. Education was a lifelong pursuit for Paul. He maintained his physical fitness for his entire life and competed in several marathons. Travel and the outdoors were also avid interests and he once went on an extended trip to travel above the Arctic Circle.    He is survived by 5 of his siblings, aunts, numerous nieces and nephews as well as cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Charles and Barbara.   A memorial will be planned and held at a later date.    Memorial donations in memory of Paul may be made to the American Lung Association, Detroit Rescue Mission, Gleaners Community Food Bank, Nature Conservancy or charity of your choice.
