Norman Lawrence Mathews

Passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at the age of 91. Norman was a proud Veteran of the United States Navy serving in WWII in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. He and Ruth are long time residents of Livonia, where Norman was a carpenter-contractor in Livonia for 40 years. Norman is survived by his loving wife Ruth. His children John (Jackie) and Sandra (Bob) Barnes. He will be dearly missed by his grandchildren Renee(Mark)Jaroh, Laura Mathews and Kathryn Barnes, and great grandson Henry Jaroh. Brother of Nora Howard of Ozark, AK., Levilla Smith of Los Angeles, CA., Leta Mayner of Ozark, AK. and Fredaline Counas of Los Angeles, CA. Gathering for friends and family will begin at 11 am on Monday, December 20, until time of Memorial Service at 12 Noon. Family suggests memorial donations to Henry Ford Hospice.
