Nickolai Zubok

NICKOLAI "Nick" was 84 years of age at the time of his death. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Elizabeth. He is the dear brother of the late John, Nettie, and George, and survived by Peter, Alex, and Irene Ratajack. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Nick served honorably in the U.S. Army as a combat infantryman, during the Second World War; he sustained disabling wounds in France. Nick recovered and went on with a good life: marrying, and working as a wood pattern maker in the automotive industry. The family will receive visitors on Saturday, April 17th from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m., with a Service at 6 p.m. that will include Military Honors. Please return to the funeral home on Sunday afternoon, April 18th, at 4 o'clock for a FINAL GATHERING with prayers and stories. a 5 p.m. dinner at Corsi's Italian Restaurant, in Livonia, will follow. Nickolia will be entombed next to his wife, privately on Monday, at Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia. Please share a thought or memory.
