Michael Robert Ulaszek

Michael “Mike” Robert Ulaszek, 54, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away on January 23, 2025. 

Mike was born in Chicago, Illinois to Ronald and Diane Ulaszek. He graduated from Plymouth Salem High School and continued to receive an associate’s degree from Eastern Michigan University. 

Mike was married to Laura (Kulisz) Ulaszek on April 17th, 1999; they were married for almost 26 years and have three amazing children together, Andrew, Nathan and Hannah. 

Mike worked in warehouse management throughout his career; mostly in the automotive industry and most recently worked for Amazon in their warehouse in Livonia. Having spent his early years growing up in Chicago, Mike was a diehard Bears and White Sox fan. He was an avid golfer and bowler, spending time in leagues in both sports that kept him busy year-round between the two. He’s passed on his love and affinity for bowling to his oldest son, Andrew, and for golf to his younger son, Nathan, and it brought him great pride and joy sharing those activities with his boys in recent years. He truly enjoyed attending his daughter Hannah’s dance recitals and happily participated in whatever TikTok trend she threw his way. He couldn’t have been more proud when she made the 7th grade volleyball team. 

Mike is survived by his wife Laura, his sons Andrew and Nathan, his daughter Hannah, his siblings Keith (Stacey) Ulaszek, Stacy (Joe) Demeter, and Matt (Val) Ulaszek, his father-in-law David Kulisz, his brother-in-law Ken (Vanessa) Kulisz, his nieces Samantha and Matilda, his nephew Ricky and other family and friends. 

Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Ulaszek and Diane Ulaszek, and his mother-in-law, Shirley Kulisz. 

Visitation for Michael will be held Friday, January 31st from 2:00 - 8:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home.

Michael will be In-State for final viewing at 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Presbyterian Church.
