Mary Lucille Therrien, 93, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away on January 22, 2020.
Mary was born in Detroit on October 11, 1926 to Jack and Bertha Dardas. She attended Cooley High School in Detroit. Mary was married to Orth Alfred Therrien on February 20, 1943, and they were married for 61 years until his death in 2004. Mary was a homemaker, wife, and mother of four daughters: Carolyn (Larry Cowsert), Sandra (Robert Domiter), Janet (Michael Lingertot), Dennise (Thomas Mazurek). Mary enjoyed making flower arrangements, ceramics, and drawing. She often vacationed with family in Las Vegas, Nevada and throughout the state of Florida. She also delighted in entertaining friends and family on the weekends, boating on the Detroit River, and singing along to Frank Sinatra’s music. Mary is survived by four daughters, nine grandchildren, and twelve great grandchildren. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Orth Alfred Therrien. Per Mary’s wishes, she is being cremated and the family will have a celebration of life dinner in the near future.
