Mary Alice Persons

MARY ALICE (MURPH) of Livonia, died January 10, 2014 at the age of 89.

She is the beloved wife of the late James G. Persons.

Mary had a fulfilling career as a long-time executive secretary at A.J.Etkin Construction.

She loved politics, cards, newly published crossword puzzles, her friends, and her church.

She is survived by a sister in law, Carol, nieces and nephews, and a host of close friends.

Friends will be welcomed at the funeral home on Sunday from 2 pm to 6:30 pm with a Rosary prayed at 3 pm.

Mary will be In State on Monday morning at 10:15 am until the time of Mass at 11:00 am at St. Genevieve-St. Maurice Catholic Church, 29015 Jamison St. Livonia.

Mary will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Salvation Army or St. Vincent DePaul Society.
