Marilyn Marie (Bohn) Brickan, 82, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away at home on November 27, 2020. Marilyn was born in Detroit on August 14, 1938 to Walter and Catherine (Mona) Bohn. She graduated from Immaculata High School in Detroit in 1956, and married Robert Earl Brickan (whom she had known since childhood) on May 28, 1960. They were together in matrimony 56 years. Marilyn worked for many years as a nurse’s aide at health care facilities in and around Livonia. She enjoyed working with and helping people. Marilyn is survived by her children Laurie (Scott) Ervans, Brian Brickan, and Colleen (Mark) Endress, eight grandchildren – Trisha Ervans, Amy (Michael) Van Essen, Racheal Ervans, Derek Brickan, Stacey (Scott) Bradley, Eric Endress, Katie Brickan, and Sean Endress, two great-grandchildren (plus two on the way), and other family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Warner James and Kenneth Bohn, and her grandson Steven Ervans. Marilyn was a friendly and generous woman, who dearly loved her family, her dogs, and Elvis Presley. A private family viewing is planned, and a memorial service for family and friends will be held at a future date.
