Lyman McKay (Mac) Fraser passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 92. Mac died peacefully art home. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Fraser and his children Cheryl Fraser and Mark Fraser. He is survived by his wife Eileen Fraser and his children: Terri Fraser, Michael (Michelle) Fraser, Cindy Fraser, Steven (Kathy) Fraser, Lori (Randy) Wakeling, Michael Moritz (Lynn Powell), Martin (Sheila) Moritz, Matthew Moritz. He was a proud grandfather to 15 and a great grandfather to 6.
Describing Mac is easy: loyal, caring, fierce, and gentle. Loyal, because he would stand by and support you. Caring, he had a heart full of gold. He felt your pain and would have taken it on himself it he could have. Fierce, he was intensely protective of his family. He always provided more than expected in everything he did. Gentle, he had the best shoulder to lean on. No matter our age, our dad was the backbone, our sounding board, and our strength.
He took pride in everything he did, and everything he did had purpose. His strength kept our family going when the world seemed too much to bear. He had hope that shined a light when the world was dark. He gave second chances to those who needed it and the forgiveness you needed to move forward.
Mac Fraser was a man of honor and love. He had patience of a Saint and was genuine through and through. The world is a better place because of him.
May your gentle soul now rest in peace. You will be missed beyond words that can express.
