Leonard Chudzinski, 90, of Novi Michigan passed away on December 12, 2019. He was born in Buffalo NY on September 22, 1929 to Stanley and Helen (nee. Grzechowiak) Chudzinski. He graduated from Emerson Vocational High School and continued on to receive an Associate's Degree from Erie Community College, located in Western NY. Leonard was married to Margaret on May 18, 1957; they were married 62 years. Leonard worked as a Process Engineer for General Motors, retiring in 1990. He enjoyed reading, creating stained glass artwork, and gardening. He was also active in the Knights of Columbus, serving as Grand Knight for his local chapter, and receiving the Family of the Year award. Leonard is survived by his wife, Margaret; children, Andrew (Phyllis) Chudzinski, Catherine (Jacob) Kern, and Stephen (Laura) Chudzinski; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his sister Theresa Rogowski, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Helen, brothers Stanley Jr, Remegius “Ray”, Frank, Joseph, and sisters Angeline, Sophie “Suzy” and Thecla “Tillie”. The Visitation will be held Sunday December 15, 2019 from 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, with Recitation of the Rosary at 4:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia MI. Leonard will be In-State for Final Visiting on Monday December 16, from 10:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM, at St. Genevieve-St. Maurice Parish, 29015 Jamison, Livonia MI.
