Leon Francis Pritchard

Leon Pritchard (June 23, 1923 - May 11, 2016) passed away surrounded by his children at Woodhaven Retirement Community in Livonia, MI. Leon was born in Boyne City, MI and graduated from Hersey High School in Hersey, MI.  He was a proud Veteran of the Army Air Corps, serving from 1943 to 1945.  Leon was a long-time avid Detroit Tigers fan and he had a passion for golf which played even into his 90s.  Leon and Anne raised their family in Livonia and lived there until 1987 and retired in Jackson. They returned in 2011 to be close to family.  He was a well-known HVAC businessman and active member of St. Paul's Presbyterian Church. Leon was a loving husband to his wife of 70 years and to his family.  Leon is survived by wife Anne (Krizov) Pritchard, daughter Audrey Crain (Jim), Arlene McDaniel (John), four grandchildren, and six great-grand children.  A memorial celebration will be held Saturday, May 14, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at St. Paul's Presbyterian Church, 27475 5 Mile Rd, Livonia, 48154.  Memorial contributions in memory of Leon may be made to: American Heart Association 3816 Payshere Circle Chicago, Il 60674
