Leo Lawrence Konchel Jr.

Leo Lawrence Konchel, Jr. of Farmington Hills Michigan passed away on March 18, 2020 at the age of 65. Leo was born in Detroit, Michigan on March 10, 1955 to Leo and Helen Konchel (preceded in death). He graduated from Cody High School in Detroit, Michigan.   Leo was married to Deborah Konchel; they were married for 44 years.  Leo worked as a pipe fitter for Detroit Diesel. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, and his son-in laws. Leo loved his puppies, classic cars, muscle cars, collecting antiques, and guns.   Leo is survived by his loving wife Deborah (nee. Sielky) Konchel, his 3 daughters, Lisa Konchel (fiancé Jonathan Schmidt), Kelly (Adam) Zmudczynski, and Shelly (Jason) Rushlow; his grandchildren Shelby, Jayden, and Jackson Rushlow, Emma Schmidt, and Victoria Zmudczynski; Leo is also survived by his sister Rosemary (David) Baczynski and his nieces and nephews.   Visitation for Leo will be held Monday, March 23rd from 1:00 - 8:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154   Due to the current Executive Order, the funeral service on Tuesday, March 24th has been canceled .  A luncheon memorial service will be held at a later date.   Memorial donations in memory of Leo may be made to his wife, Deborah Konchel.
