Time of service is scheduled for 11:00 am and the family will receive guest starting at 10:30 am.
Kathy lived a simple life and enjoyed her family and time with her closest friends who she valued and were with her in the last moments. Kathy’s huge heart and loving care for her children was seen through her ever-presence of volunteer work with the Livonia Co-Op Pre-School and Adam PTA serving in multiple roles. Kathy received special recognition from them on numerous occasions. Kathy’s support of her children’s school activities included attending science fairs, concerts, plays and marching band competition, which she cherished, all the while suffering from Rheumatoid Arthritis. As we entered the 2000’s, the RA worsened further reducing her mobility while not dampening her spirit and desire. In 2006 the gift of new life, her granddaughter “Noodle” as she called her, provided Kathy immense joy and pride, the opportunity to nurture, spoil abundantly and of course, to LOVE which she did endlessly. In 2020 the diagnosis of cancer was received and ultimately was her final demise. She withheld this from the one’s she loved the most as to not to burden them with her weight.
We have all been touched by Kathy’s presence, spirit and her love while she was with us. To continue that, in lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider the gift of a donation to the Chad Tough Foundation in her memory. Kathy was a frequent donor and supporter of this cause. For further information please see their website at www.chadtough.org for complete details.
For those who cannot attend Kathy’s service in person due to health and travel restrictions, we understand. We are arranging for the service to be available via livestream thru the church website or Facebook page at www.plymouthnazarene.com
God Bless and Thank you Kathy!
You Are Loved!
