Katherine Lee "Mc Arthur" House

Katherine Lee House, 63, of Westland passed away on Thursday April 27, 2017. It was her wishes that she be cremated and interred with her brother David McArthur and her mother Annie McArthur at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. There will be a wake with family and friends on Wednesday at the home of her son William K. House II. Kathy was born in Detroit, MI on Nov 30, 1953 to Annie Terembes and Charles D McArthur.  She graduated from Southfield High School in 1971, and continued to earn an LPN degree. Kathy was married to William K. House on Sept 4, 1971. They were together 45 years. Kathy is survived by her husband William K. House, her three children William (Bill) K. House II, Kristine A. Baker, and David M. House. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, William K House III, Emilee R. Baker, Ashley M. Baker, Nathaniel T. Clendennin, and Nicolas D. Clendennin. Kathy worked as a geriatric nurse for 16 years before becoming an over the road truck driver.  She served her community as a member of the Civil Air Patrol for 20+ years Kathy is preceded in death by her mother Annie McArthur, her Father Charles D. McArthur, and her siblings Mira Griffith, and David McArthur. In lieu of Flowers memorial donations may be given to The Wounded Warrior Project. The family wishes to thank everyone for the outpouring of love and prayers during this time of sorrow.
