Joseph Tondreau

JOSEPH was 82 years of age at the time of his death, at home. He is the beloved husband of Esther. Joe is the dear father of Mark (Vicki), Vicky Theisen, Cathy (Leonard) Zawisa, Jim, Chris (Jeff) Eriksson, Julie, Pam (Chris) Soave, Annette (Jon) Haapala, and Joe (Barb). He is the adored grandfather of 18, and great grandfather of 5. Joe is the brother of Al, AnneMarie, Ken, Leo, Gail, and the late John. Joe loved golfing, bowling, and was an avid fisherman and hunter. After retiring from the United States Postal Service as a postal supervisor in Brighton (Joe also had postal assignments in Livonia), he started a second career working for the City of Livonia's Court. As a veteran of the Army Air Corps, Joe was a proud member of the American Legion Post 32. A longtime parishioner of St. Priscilla's, Joe belonged to the Knights of Columbus, Council 3959. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 26th from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. An Honor Guard Service will be held at 5:00 PM. A Rosary will be prayed at 7 PM. Joseph will be In-State for final visitation on Wednesday morning, March 27th from 9:15 AM until the time of Mass 10 AM at St. Priscilla Catholic Church located in Livonia at 19120 Purlingbrook Road.
