Joseph Michael De La Rosa, age 59, of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, passed away on October 15, 2022. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends.
Joe was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 26, 1963 to Arnold and Charlotte
De La Rosa. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in Taylor, Michigan.
Joe was married to Kelly on October 27, 1990, they were married for 31 years. Together they had one son, Connor.
Joe worked in construction, renovating and remodeling homes. He enjoyed bowling and hunting. He was an avid cook and grill master. Joe loved to cook for friends and family. Joe was actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America, helping his son Connor and others with Eagle Scout projects.
Joe is survived by his wife Kelly, son Connor, sister Renee (Heidi), as well as his sisters and brothers in laws and nephews and nieces.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Arnold and Charlotte De La Rosa.
A Memorial luncheon will be held at a future date.
