John R. Homady

JOHN was 79 years of age at the time of his death in Petoskey, Michigan. He is the beloved husband of Peggy, and dear father of Barbara (Freddie, Jr.) Williams, John Jr. (Charlene), and the late Joseph. John is the adored grandfather of Robert, Christina, Derek, Jessica, Courtney, and Jared. He is also survived by Great Grandchildren: Andrew and Miranda. John, a United States Navy veteran, retired from Ford Motor Company's Livonia Transmission Plant. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, and a former member of St. Priscilla Catholic Church in Livonia. The family will receive visitors on Friday, January 8th from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. The funeral service is Saturday morning, 10 a.m., at the funeral home, followed by burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield, MI. Memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital, and envelopes are available at the funeral home. Please share a memory or condolence.
