JACK was 84 years of age at the time of his death, at home, in Livonia. He is the beloved husband of Johane, and dear father of John (Denise), Roseane Bradbury, Dan (Lory), Suzane (Scott) Holycross, Carol (William) Bryant, David (Wendy) and Gary (Kelly).
Jack is the adored grandfather of 17 and great grandfather of 7. He was preceded in death by a sister and brother, Patricia and Joseph.
Jack was a carpenter foreman for many years until founding his own business, BONGERO CONSTRUCTION, in Livonia. The company (still a thriving family owned business) quickly established an excellent reputation, doing remodels and expansions all over town. No wonder that the carpenter, St. Joseph, held a special place in John's heart.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, from 2:00 PM until 8:00 PM. A Rosary will be prayed during the Wake Services that evening, at 7:00 PM.
Final visiting will take place Wednesday morning at 9:30 AM until the time of Mass 10:00 AM at the family's parish, St. Priscilla Catholic Church located in Livonia at 19120 Purlingbrook Road.
A procession will follow for a Committal Service at Holy Sepulchre Catholic Cemetery. In recognition of Jack's service (he was an MP at Fort Bragg, North Carolina,), a United States Army Honor Guard Ceremony will take place at that time.
