Marie Jeanne Annette “Jean” Crawford, 100, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away June 15, 2021. Jean was born in Providence, Rhode Island, on March 13, 1921, to Francois and Adelia (Dion) Letourneau. She married Reginald Crawford on April 24, 1943; they were married 66 years.

Jean, known as “Nannie” to her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, radiated warmth and compassion—traits that helped her make lifelong friends, especially of her neighbors—and was beloved by her family.

Jean is survived by her children, Donna, George, Nora, and Donald; her grandchildren, Kristie, Ryan (Noelle), Justin (Katie), and Lauren; and her great-grandchildren, Samantha, Georgia, Kaelyn, Evie, Charlie, and Chase. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reginald; son, Robert; and brothers William, Edward, and Harvey.

The visitation will be held Friday, June 18, from 4–8 p.m. at Manns Family Funeral Home in Livonia; the funeral service will be held Saturday, June 19, at 11:30 a.m., also at Manns Family Funeral Home.

Memorial donations in memory of Jean Crawford may be made to the Community Opportunity Center (COC) of Livonia.
