James John Tondreau

James John Tondreau “Jim” 59, of Livonia passed away suddenly on November 27, 2017.   Jim was born in Detroit on March 30, 1958 to Joseph and Esther Tondreau. He graduated from Clarenceville High School in 1976.   Jim worked at General Motors for 30 years and was retired for 10. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, hunting (Hunter was his nickname). He loved the Red Wings, being “Up North” and with his family.   Jim is survived by his children, Brandon and Ashley; his mother, Esther; his siblings, Mark (Vicki), Vicky Theison, Cathy (Leonard) Zawisa, Chris (Jeff) Eriksson, Julie, Pam (Chris) Soave, Annette (Jon) Haapala and Joe; 16 nieces and nephews; 9 great-nieces and nephews.   Jim is preceded in death by his father Joseph F. and niece Jennifer Shepan.   Visitation for Jim will be held Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 2:00 – 8:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home.   Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.   Family requests Memorial Donations in memory of Jim to be made to: American Heart Association Midwest Affiliate 3816 Payshere Circle Chicago, IL 60674
