James F. O'Neil

Passed away at his home, on Sunday, August 1st, at the age 86. James will be dearly missed by his beloved wife Elaine. Loving father of Mark (Paula). James was preceded in death by his son David. Grandfather of Timmie and Melanie and great-grandfather of Ethan and Ella. James was chairman of the National Voter Referendum. Former member of Michigan's State Board of Education. A Founder of Schoolcraft College. Candidate for U.S. Senate and U.S. Congress. Combat veteran of World War II. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 5, from 2 until 9 PM with a funeral service held at 7 PM. Please share a memory or condolence with the family.
