James Allen Keith

James Allen Keith, or as many of you called him, Jim, 60, of Livonia, MI, passed away on June 21, 2023. Jim was born in Livonia, MI on May 29, 1963 to Phillip and Margaret Keith.  He graduated from Clarenceville High School in 1980 and went on to attend ITT technical institute where he earned a certificate of completion in 1995.  

Jim was married to Tina Warpup in 1987, they were married for 5 years.  He went on to marry Darlene Foshie in 1994 for another 10 years.  Jim worked as a construction worker for nearly 25 years and later worked for Ameritech and finally with Vicount before his retirement.  

Jim enjoyed all forms of media, most notably his love for movies released on every format over the years and his love for music was beyond words.  He enjoyed attending live concerts and playing the bass in various bands throughout the years and listening to his favorite artists, most notably Rush, on his big Vega speakers.  When Jim was young, he played baseball and continued to watch the Detroit Tigers for many years to come. 

Jim is survived by his children, Monika Wood and Brett Keith; his grandson, Richter; siblings, David, Terry, and Joseph, and a large extended family.  Jim is preceded in death by his parents Phillip and Margaret.  

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, June 27th from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.
