Jack Parsons

JACK PARSONS was 90 years of age at the time of his death on Christmas, December 25, 2014.
He is the beloved husband of Marian, and the late Joan (1990); and dear father of Judy P. Brady, and Jeffrey W. Parsons.
He is the adored grandfather of Megan, Lauren, Allison, William (Nash) and Sarah Cate.
Jack is survived by a sister, Joann Mitarnowski of Altoona, PA.
Jack had a great sense of humor, and was a “good and faithful servant.” He retired from American Motors/Chrysler Corp. and enjoyed traveling and cooking. He is a resident of Sanctuary of Woodland in Brighton.
Jack participated in D-Day, and his service record included 35 missions over Europe as a radio operator/gunner in a B-17 for the 398th Heavy Bombardment Group.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00PM Tuesday December 30th, at First Presbyterian Church of Brighton with Reverend Dave Mihocko officiating.
