HENRY "BUD" was 84 years of age at the time of his death in Livonia.
He is the beloved husband of Lucille, and dear father of David (Lynn), Andrew (Leslie).
Henry was a tremendous influence on many people, including his grandchildren, who will remember him with love and respect: Jason (Gretchen), Katelyn, Alyssa, and Alex.
He is the great grandfather of Ian, and also survived by his sister, Katherine Remenapp.
Born in 1930 in Cleveland, Ohio, Bud moved to Detroit when he was 6 years old. A graduate of Cooley High School in 1948 and from Michigan State University in 1952, he served in the U. S. Army. During that time, Bud married Lucille, his wife of 62 years. After leaving the Army, Henry went to work for Chrysler Corporation. He retired in 1996, after a 43 year career in accounting and finance. Bud went on to a second career, spending 8 years as a Director of the Michigan State University Foundation. He was also active in the Stephens Ministry at Northville First Presbyterian Church. Bud passed away after a courageous 4 year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 2-8 pm.
Final visitation is Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m. followed by Services at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church of Northville, located at 200 E. Main St. Northville MI 48167
Memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, are suggested to the Michigan State University Horticultural Gardens or to the First Presbyterian Church of Northville Memorial Fund.
