Gladys "Rusty" Bania

GLADYS (Rusty) was 87 years of age at the time of her death, in Sterling Heights. She is the beloved wife of the late Stan; and dear mother of Lorie (Jack) Farrow, and Teri (Mike) Persichini. Rusty is the adored "Gram" of Jessica and Brandon Persichini, and Michael Farrow. She was preceded in death by her brothers: Richard and Charles. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 13th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., with a Rosary prayed at 3 p.m. Gladys will be In State on Monday morning at 10:15 a.m. until the time of the Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Genevieve Catholic Church, 29015 Jamison St. in Livonia. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Rochester Leader Dogs for the Blind, or the Capuchin Soup Kitchen. **Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
