Gerardo "Jerry" Alfaro

Gerardo “Jerry” Alfaro passed away February 15, 2019 at the age of 89.  He was born on August 14, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan to Gerardo and Maria (Herrera) Alfaro.    Jerry possessed a strong work ethic, never missed a day of work and retired from General Motors in 1989.  He loved the Detroit Tigers, dancing and big band music.    He was the beloved husband of the late Martha (Yocca) Alfaro and is survived by his daughter; Jessica (Tj) Jordan; son, Dan Alfaro; granddaughter, Alexandra Jordan; grandson, Matthew Jordan; sister Aurelia Savala, brother Temo Alfaro and many nieces and nephews.    Visitation will be held Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 9:00 am until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St Priscilla’s Catholic Church, 19120 Purlingbrook St., Livonia, MI 48152.  His final resting place will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
