Geraldine Quinn Briggs

GERALDINE was 93 years of age as she peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior on October 2, 2010. She is the loving wife of the late Otis Lee Briggs. She leaves behind beloved children: Laurel Farnell McNulty, Richard (Barbara) Briggs, Jerome (Sandy) Briggs, Lorraine (Alan) Matthews, Mary Ann Desmond, and Stephanie Pender. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter. Gerry was a resident of Livonia since 1948, and a long-time member of the St. Priscilla parish community. The family will receive visitors on Monday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Rosary prayed at 7 p.m. Gerry's body will be In-State on Tuesday morning at 9:30 a.m. until the time of Mass at 10 a.m. at St. Priscilla Catholic Church, which is located at 19120 Purlingbrook Road, in Livonia. Geraldine will be laid to rest in the Grandlawn Cemetery. The family suggests memorials to the St. Vincent dePaul Society, and envelopes are available at the funeral home. Please share a memory.
