Florence G. Tetreault

Florence G. Tetreault, Ph.D, age 96 of Pinckney, Michigan and previously of Tempe, Arizona and Livonia, Michigan passed away peacefully Saturday morning August 22, 2020 due  to complications from a stroke. Devoted daughter of the late Emile and Theresa Tetreault, sister of the late Emile "Red" Tetreault of Tempe Arizona.  Florence was raised in Detroit, Michigan where she was a 1942 graduate of Redford High School.  She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Detroit, a Master of Science degree from the University of Michigan, and finally a Ph.D in Philosophy majoring in Statistics from Iowa State University 1965.  Florence worked as a professor of Mathematics at the University of Detroit Mercy for 45 years before retiring in 1992. Survived by nieces, nephews and chosen family who would like to thank JoAnne Mulder, Tina Barnes, the entire aide staff at Brighton Manor and to Julie and Amy from Compassionate Hospice for the love and care given to Florence.  Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, private funeral arrangements have been made by Manns Family Funeral Home.  Entombment Holy Sepulchre Southfield, Michigan.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to OperationSmile.org or to the Florence G.
