Esther Jane Tondreau

Esther Jane Tondreau, 92, of Livonia, MI passed away on November 17, 2024. She was born in Detroit on April 21, 1932, to Main and Ebba Mark. She graduated from Cooley High School in 1950.

Esther married Joseph on July 21, 1950; they were married 62 years. 

Esther enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo, doing crossword puzzles, watching Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, Wheel of Fortune, and Blue Bloods. She also enjoyed traveling with her family, listening to Andy Williams, and annual Columbus Day shopping with her daughters. She loved supporting her grandchildren and great grandchildren at any and every event possible. 

Esther is survived by her children, Mark, Vicky, Cathy (Leonard), Chris (Jeff), Julie, Pam (Chris), Annette (Jon) and Joe; grandchildren, Wendy (Sal), Amy (Mike), Eric (Amy), Danny, Brandon, Jill (Jeff), Ashley (Nate), Ryan, J.J. (Justin), Jake (Ericka), Josh, Melissa (Josh), Jesse (Rachel), Jeana, Megan, Erika, and Charlie; great grandchildren, Catie, Lily, Allie, Francesca, Lila, Josie, Elaine, Lucas, Billy, Delilah, Cole, Kai, and baby boy Soave on the way; brother, Paul (Mike); brothers-in-law, Al (Ann) and Leo, and sisters-in-law, Anne Marie, Gloria, Gail and Carol, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Esther is preceded in death by her parents, Main and Ebba Mark; husband, Joseph; son, Jim; granddaughter, Jennifer; daughter-in-law, Vicki; brothers, Bill and John (Dorothy); mother and father-in-law, Catherine and Joseph; brothers-in-law, Johnny and Ken. 

Memorial donations in memory of Esther may be made to American Heart Association or Stand Up to Cancer.

Visitation for Esther will be held on Wednesday, November 20th from 2:00 - 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 6:30 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.

Esther will be In-State for final viewing on Thursday, November 21st from 9:30 until the time of the funeral mass at 10:00 AM at St. Priscilla Catholic Church, 19120 Purlingbrook, Livonia 48152.
