Elizabeth Katherine Merda

Age 93, formerly of Akron, Ohio passed away December 3, in Livonia. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Mathias for 48 years. Their love for each other was deep, continuing and everlasting, now their spirits can live on together forever. Dear mother of Joseph (Francis) and Magdalene (John) Nemec. Grandmother of Tom, Caroline, Paul, Beth Ann, Micheal, Amy and Julie Ann. Great grandmother of ten. Her love for cooking was a main ingredient fo her life. Streudels and paprikash will always be remembered and were looked forward to when visiting. In her later years crocheting became her passion. Afghans were crocheted for all the children and grandchildren. Funeral will be held Friday December 7, at 11 am at the Kucko-Anthony-Kurtesz Funeral Home in Akron, Ohio.
