Edward "Ted" Mccarthy

Edward “Ted” McCarthy of Livonia, passed away March 27, 2017 at the age of 65. He was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 22, 1951. Ted married Kathy Markey on December 16, 1977; they were married 39 years. Since his retirement, he enjoyed painting motorcycles, watching hockey and NASCAR. Ted is the beloved husband of Kathy; loving father of Andrea and Kyle (Riley); dear grandfather of Parker; brother in law of Gary, Janis (Dave) and Phyllis. Beloved uncle to Kim, Ken, Dustin and Andrew. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Grace and his sister Margaret. Visitation for Ted will be held Thursday, March 30, 2017 from 2:00 until the time of the Funeral Service at 7:00 PM at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia, 48154. Family suggests memorial donations in honor of Ted be made to Esophageal Cancer Awareness Association at ecaware.org/give/donate
