Edmund Stanley Koss

EDMUND was 92 years of age at the time of his passing. He is the beloved husband of Sophie "Sallie" (nee Barnakis) for 65 years, and dear father of Rita (Bob) Garbacik, Gary (Martha), and Mark. Ed is the adored grandfather of 8, and also survived by many nieces and nephews. An Army veteran, he retired from a career at Detroit Diesel then, enjoyed many interests including hunting, fishing, golfing and plumbing. Also visiting his son, Gary, and other relatives, in Florida. He was always eager to cheer everyone up and would never end an encounter or conversation until he would see you smile. Family will welcome friends at the funeral home on Friday June 7th from 4-8PM. Services will take place Saturday at 11AM, concluding with a brief recognition service including presentation of the flag, by a United States Army Honor Guard. Please share a memory or thought.
