Donald George Liptow

Donald “Lippy” George Liptow, 76, of Farmington Hills, passed away July 23, 2019.   He was born in Detroit on June 15, 1943 to George and Marion Liptow.   Don graduated from Cooley High School and continued on to receive a bachelor’s degree from Wayne State University.   Don was married to Betty on June 2, 1990; they were married 29 years.   Don is survived by his wife, Betty; children, Tammy (Dean), Darrin (Erin), and Sheryl (Matt); grandchildren, Mitchell, Tanner, Tori, Lilli, Landon and Finn; sister Diane, and many nieces and nephews.   He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Judi.   Visitation for Don will be held Tuesday, July 30th from 4:00 – 8:00pm at Manns Family Funeral Home, 17000 Middlebelt, Livonia 48154.   Don will be In-State for final viewing at 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 39020 Five Mile, Livonia 48154.   Memorial donations in memory of Don may be made to Angela Hospice.
