Cheryl Elayne Jeziorowski, age 68, of Livonia, Michigan, passed away Tuesday May 5, 2020. Cheryl ended her two-month battle with cancer, at Beaumont Dearborn Hospital. Cheryl was born July 27, 1951 in Detroit, Michigan the second of five children born to parents Donald and Alma Thompson. Cheryl was a graduate of Cody High School in 1969, where she met the love of her life, Michael Paul Jeziorowski. The two were married on June 25, 1971 and had three sons; Paul, Kevin, and Adam. Cheryl worked at Adams Elementary School as a lunchtime monitor for a number of years, where she was always generous with her time and understanding with the children of the school. Cheryl would often make sure that kids who were not fortunate enough to have warm clothes in the wintertime suddenly found themselves with jackets, gloves and scarves. Eventually, she found herself employed at the customer counter for UPS. She worked her way up, earned her chauffeur's license, and became the overnight air delivery driver. Getting up at 4:00 a.m. every day to meet the plane with the overnight packages was not an easy task, but it was one Cheryl took on to help meet the needs of her family. Always strong in here faith, Cheryl was a devout Christian, she always strived to live by and teach Christian values and charity to her family. Cheryl enjoyed travel, Disney, and being surrounded by her family. She loved spending time every year camping in Northern Michigan at Burt Lake State Park. At Burt Lake she could often be found down by lake flying kites. She was always willing to share her kites with any curious kid who happened upon her and wanted to fly as well. She was always game for a good joke and had an impish smile that would come out when she was being sneaky--inevitably followed by a laugh that would warm your soul. She is survived by her husband Michael; her sons Paul (Heather), Kevin (Candice), and Adam; her mother Alma; her siblings Mike, Don, Taryn, and Eric; and grandchildren Autumn, Colin, Norah, Lauren, and Kelsie. Visitation will be held 10:00am till 1:30pm immediately followed by a service for the family, Friday May 8, 2020 at Manns Family Funeral Home in Livonia, MI.
