Casimer Henry "Cass" Slomczenski

Casimer “Cass” Slomczenski passed away July 12, 2016 at the age of 79. He is the beloved husband of Joann; dear father of Dr. Gail (Dr. Mark) Denuccio, Julie (Gerry) Wilk and Denise (Jim) Cox; loving Papa of eight grandchildren: Sydney, Alec, Blake, Hayley, Maggie, Nick, Grant and Garrett; brother of Frank; uncle of many nieces and nephews. Cass retired from Ford Motor Company where he worked for 38 years as a draftsman and designer, and had been happily retired for 20 years. He was a long time member of St. Sabina Catholic Church (Dearborn Heights) and enjoyed fishing with his grandchildren. Visitation for Cass will be held Thursday, July 14, 2016 from 3:00 – 8:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM at MANNS FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 17000 Middlebelt (S. of 6 Mile), Livonia, 48154. He will be In State Friday, July 15, 2016 from 10:00 AM until time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM at St. Sabina Catholic Church, 25555 Ann Arbor Trail, Dearborn Heights, 48127.
