Berrett Edward Shuman, 43, of Pocatello, Idaho, passed away on August 28, 2019. Berrett was born in Pocatello on July 30, 1976 to Tyrone and Elesa Shuman. As a boy, Berrett had a kind and gentle manner, and sense of fun. He graduated from Highland High School, served an LDS mission in Arkansas, continued on to receive an Associate’s degree from Rick’s College, and also attended ArtCenter College of Design, in Pasadena, California. Berrett was married to Kristin on October 19, 2013. Berrett was an artist and master painter in oil. He enjoyed taking photographs, painting, hiking, and spending time with his family, especially his children. He was loving, kind, creative, fun-loving, and had a great sense of humor. His paintings capture his sensitivity and radiate his light and love of beauty and nature. Berrett is survived by wife, Kristin and children, Hudson and Ivy. His parents, Tyrone and Elesa Shuman. His brothers T.R. (Andrea) Shuman, Trevor (Emily) Shuman, Jake (Lisa) Shuman, and Ryan Shuman, many nieces and nephews, and his dogs, Gris and Boone. Berrett is preceded in death by his grandparents Gensie and Tyrone Shuman Sr., and Jean and Edward Berrett. The celebration of life for Berrett will be held September 7, 2019 at 3pm at FMC Park. Berrett will be missed by all. We love you, Berrett.
