BERNICE was 92 years of age at the time of her death, in Redford, which is the same community she was born in, in 1921. She lived in Michigan most of her life and enjoyed "snowbirding" in Florida.
Bernice was a talented seamstress, making wedding and party dresses that delighted her clients. She also made clothing alterations and taught sewing to many. Bernice was an avid church-goer and fan of the Detroit Tigers. She and her late husband, Ted, were worldwide travelers and square dancers who loved each other in a joyful marriage for over 54 years.
Bernice is survived by her son, Keith (Lynn) Brunson of Livonia, MI, and Brenda (Chris) Brzys of Alexandria, VA.
Bernice is the adored grandmother of Heather, Christian, Hayley, Theodore, and Jacob. She also proudly enjoyed the role of great grandmother to Logan, Madison, and Nolan.
Please join the family in remembering Bernice at a Memorial Service to be held on Saturday, November 30th at 10:30 AM at the Kenwood Church of Christ located at 20200 Merriman Road (south of 8 Mile) in Livonia.
Bernice's ashes will be placed in a niche with her beloved husband, at the Mausoleum of the Glen Eden Memorial Park.
